The Maryland Forest Service is sponsoring a photo contest to honor the beautiful tree lined streets of Maryland in celebration of the 2011 United Nations International Year of the Forest.

Take a photo of your favorite tree lined streets and submit the photo, the street name and town, and your contact information to:

The photos will be featured on the MD Forest Service website, at the September 2011 National Association of State Foresters Conference in Baltimore and on the American Grove – Maryland Grove site: http://thegrove.americangrove.org/group/marylandgrove

Any photos submitted will become the property of the MD DNR Forest Service for their use in reproduction for publication processes, whether electronic, print, digital or electronic publishing via the Internet.
