An Oct. 24 update on Maryland’s Energy Administration website states that Maryland’s Home Performance Rebate Program will continue until the funds are fully reserved.
Home Performance Rebate Program
The MEA Home Performance Rebate program offers homeowners rebates for home energy efficiency improvements. By combining a 35 percent rebate (up to $3,100 total) from the Maryland Energy Administration with a 15 percent rebate from your utility, Marylanders can save a total of 50 percent on home energy improvements. MEA encourages all homeowners to upgrade the energy efficiency of their homes to ENERGY STAR standards.
Rebate applications are processed on a first-completed (no errors or missing documents), first-served basis.
MEA warns that submitting an application does NOT guarantee your rebate reservation. Rebates are not reserved until you and your contractor receive a confirmation email or letter from program staff.
For complete information, visit MEA's Home Performance Rebate Program webpage.
