Join Clark's Elioak Farm, the University of Maryland Extension, Howard County, Howard County Tourism, and the Howard County Economic Development Authority's Agricultural Marketing Program in celebrating Howard County agriculture. Enjoy locally grown food from surrounding farms and restaurants and watch "INGREDIENTS the film: Who's Your Farmer?", a film about the benefits of eating locally grown food.
INGREDIENTS is a seasonal exploration of the local food movement! The feature length documentary illustrates how people around the country are working to revitalize the connection to our local community and our health. Narrated by Bebe Neuwirth, the film takes us across the U.S. from the diversified farms of the Hudson River and Willamette Valleys to the urban food deserts of Harlem and to the kitchens of celebrated chefs Alice Waters, Peter Hoffman and Greg Higgins. INGREDIENTS is a journey that reveals the people behind the movement to bring good food back to the table and health back to our communities.
$5 donation will go toward Farmers' Market Coupons for families in need.
